Chief Financial Officer
The Chief Financial Officer is an integral role to the EmBark Foundation with involvement in the creation of our yearly budget as well as bookeeping and making sure all expenses and fund raised are accounted for. This position will handle everything that relates to cash flow in and out of the organization. This position is an estimated 0-5 hours weekly. The ideal candidate would have: - Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or progress towards one - A background in accounting or finance, preferably in a nonprofit (have knowledge of the 80/20 rule) - Have experience working for a nonprofit - Have a connection to our mission of serving survivors of DV/IPV, sexual assault, and child abuse as well as rescue animals! - Preferably from a diverse background (BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ folks are strongly encouraged to apply) - Located in WI (Milwaukee or Madison). This is not required as this is a remote position. These are preferred qualifications, not required! If you are passionate about our mission, still apply!
Event Coordinator
The event coordinator will be in charge of finding events to participate in or creating events of our own. In this, they will delegate tasks to volunteers, apply for funding through sponsorships and grants, and thoroughly plan to make the event successful. Event Coordinators can be involved in more than just physical event opportunities but also help participate in online events or campaigns. The ultimate goal of participating in and hosting events is to bring in more funds for our mission and spread the message about our mission.
